Release notes generator
Paste the output of git log --oneline (or full
git log, or just one commit message per line) and get a
keep-a-changelog style markdown draft: commits grouped into Added / Changed /
Fixed / Breaking / Security, merges and housekeeping (chore, ci, docs, version bumps) filtered
out, duplicates dropped. Deterministic — conventional-commit prefixes plus plain-English
heuristics, no AI. Free, no signup, nothing is saved.
The output is a draft on purpose — generated
notes need a human pass before they're release notes
(why). Prefer this in your terminal? The
wakelog CLI does it at tag time: wakelog post --from-git --draft.
